"I have the privilege of having an exceptional guitar teacher this year, and I can confidently say it's an amazing experience. The way Darren teaches is truly inspiring as he has helped me to hone various guitar techniques through his patience, expertise and genuine dedication to my progress. Each lesson is thoughtfully planned to cater to my learning style, ensuring that I grasp concepts effectively. One aspect of the class that I enjoy is the integration of technology. Darren incorporates online accompaniments into our sessions, allowing me to explore different styles of music and enhance my skills in a practical way. Also as a vocalist I enjoy the recording services he provides along with these accompaniments, putting into practice everything I've learned. Thanks to Darren's guidance and encouragement, I've not only grown as a guitarist but also as a musician. His passion for teaching is infectious and I'm grateful for the invaluable lessons and experiences he's provided. I'm also happy to say that he has helped me add content to my youtube channel and increased my views. If you're looking for a guitar teacher that goes beyond the basics and fosters a true love for music, getting in touch with Darren's Music Studio is definitely the way to go ".

"I have been a student of Darren's for a few years now. When I first thought about guitar lessons I was hesitant. In my 60's, what was I thinking, but I met Darren and I knew it was going to be a good journey. He was patient, very patient, a mild demeanor, and would explain things over and over again until it sunk in.Darren has taught me so much and I am grateful for that. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and patience has led me to a wonderful repore with Darren. I felt a 1/2 hour was never long enough and went for 1 hour lessons, even some days that wasn't long enough. Not only did we do guitar lessons but he taught me about writing songs as I had lyrics and really wanted to make a song. He produced and had me record 2 of my songs we wrote together. It was amazing! They are even on the internet now.He produced and had me narrate my books I wrote. He wrote a jingle for my audio book and put in the sound effects, those, too, are on the internet. A guitar teacher? Yes, Darren is wonderful, oh did I tell you I am in my 60's? No matter your age, if you want to learn go for it! But Darren is so much more than a guitar teacher and my experience over the years with him has been fun, exciting, and rewarding."

"I’ve always wanted to play guitar. Life got in the way. I started trying seriously to learn how to play when I retired a number of years ago. I’ve had lessons on and off from three instructors. Most recently I’ve had regular weekly lessons with Darren. We’ve been working together on my skills for about 2 years now. I feel that Darren has helped me more than anyone to learn and improve various skills and to begin putting them to use actually playing some music beyond just strumming a few chords. I can honestly recommend Darren: he’s a patient and supportive teacher and skilled guitarist".
